Happy New Year to all of you! The first half of January is going by as fast as the blink of an eye, don’t you think? At this pace, we’ll soon be taking off our hoodies and playing video games by the seaside. Maybe, with our brand new Nintendo Switch 2. It all depends on when Nintendo decides to announce the release date of the console, which has been revealed by accessory manufacturers during CES 2025.
Yesterday we asked on Twitter what your most anticipated games are — feel free to leave a comment, your answers are more than welcome!
As long as there is no official news, we can only speculate and dream. The only thing we can be sure of are this week’s game releases and all the amazing projects that have been announced for the coming months. Today’s entry is brief but very exciting. Shall we get started?

Coming soon
The developers of Bestiario (Wiggin Industries), a hand-drawn tactical RPG based on Spanish mythology, confirmed that we’ll soon receive a new update on the status of the project. Its creator Yuste, a renowned variety streamer in our country, recently shared a small glimpse of two of the rooms we will explore during the game. Can we expect a new trailer before the end of January? On the playable side, Bestiario is widely inspired by acclaimed JRPG such as Persona, Grandia and Final Fantasy. The project was successfully kickstarted earlier last year and its planned for release on Q4 2026.
Hace tiempo que no os paso nada de Bestiario y estamos a punto de enseñaros MUCHÍSIMO.
Speaking of Kickstarter, there’s another Spanish game landing on the crowdfunding platform on January 28. It’s ILA: A Frosty Glide, by Magic Rain Studios, a magic adventure about a witch in training flying on a skatebroom! Ila will put her flight skills to test in order to take the skies and find her lost kitty Coco. Help her discover wonderful secret places, collect valuable items, and improve her magical flying abilities.
Don’t miss the next updates of this beautiful project, as well as their rhythm-action skating game Lua.
