The pace of releases slows down in these final weeks of the year, with the Christmas holidays just around the corner and 2026 already on the horizon. Even so, this week we have a couple of releases, as well as the news that Aureole – Wings of Hope will get a physical edition on PlayStation 5 thanks to Jandusoft and Tesura Games during the first quarter of 2026.
Thursday 18. Oppidum, the survival game with narrative elements by EP Games, lands on Nintendo Switch after launching on Steam last April. The game’s story mode features 40 hours of content and supports multiplayer sessions of up to 4 players with cross-play.
Friday 19. Released in April 2024, Nordic Ashes: Survivors of Ragnarok from Noxfall Studios arrives on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. This challenging Nordic-inspired roguelite survivor pits you against hordes of creatures rushing at you, with the goal of surviving for as long as possible. On top of all this, Selecta Play will also release a physical Collector’s Edition on those consoles.
