GameSpain News Roundup: March 23-27, 2026

Hi there!

We’re thrilled to announce that the organization of the GameSpain Spring Edition is aaaalmost completed. We hope to share the date of the livestream with you soon! So keep an eye on our social media and, while we wait for that, let’s have a look at this week’s indie releases.

Wednesday 23

Dust Games leaned into the chaos and launched their friendship-fulminator co-op game, Roombattle, on Steam. It’s a fast-paced party battler for up to 6 players, where everyone controls customizable vacuum cleaners, clashing in frantic arenas and wildly unpredictable minigames across multiple modes.

The team also released a video breaking down the core loop and main mechanics.

Ausencia de color (The Absence of Colour) released on the same day by DIOXfestivo, a prolific game developer on itch.io. Built in Unity, this monochrome short experience can be summed up in a single line: Have you ever wondered what hope looks like?

Ausencia de color can be played directly in your browser.
