The weekly Spanish video games industry newsletter (October 28)

Halloween is almost upon us, so you can imagine that our news today involves a few spooky games. This week, we’ve got three new Spanish releases, so let’s take a look at them!

After releasing Seven Doors in 2020, Indigo Studios is back with another narrative adventure. Charon’s Staircase, published by Soedesco, is a first-person horror mystery game, where players are set out to bury the horrible past of a tyrannical government. In this adventure, players will have to retrieve and destroy the documents that unravel the secrets that lie beneath Oack Grove, the place that hides the secrets of a dark, totalitarian regime.

Milkstone Studios has a new game, and it’s a title that’s being released on Early Access. Army of Ruin is an auto-shooter in which you guide legendary heroes on a quest to defeat the Armies of Evil. Wreak havoc on countless foes with mighty weapons and deadly spells while you enhance your skills and face even greater dangers.

The Bad Son is the personal project of Víctor Atobas. As he describes it, it’s an anti-authority indie horror RPG. You know, the kind of game your parents wouldn’t want you to play. You can check it on Steam, where it’s currently on sale thanks to the Steam Scream Sale.
