GameSpain News Roundup: May 18-22, 2026

Hello everyone!

We’re getting close to our Summer edition of the GameSpain Direct. We’ll be able to share more details soon, but in the meantime let’s take a look at this week’s new releases. Let’s go!

Thursday 21.

Books of Horror, from solo developer Antonio Manzano, is a first-person horror game where you face Airana, a mysterious AI that controls your captivity. To escape, you must overcome procedurally generated simulations based on ancient “Books of Horror”. The game is now available on Steam.

Friday 22.

Erveca Studio released Almazuela Picross on Steam. In this game, players must complete almazuelas, quilts made from scraps of fabric arranged in geometric patterns. To obtain the scraps, they’ll need to solve a Picross by filling in and removing cells based on the clues. They can rotate and move these scraps until they’ve pieced together the patchwork like a puzzle.

And that’s all for today, folks! Remember to subscribe to our mailing list to receive our monthly recaps. Also, support us by sharing this post and tagging our profiles on X (@GameSpain_EN), and Linkedin (GameSpain). Help us spread the love for Spanish games!
