The weekly Spanish video games industry newsletter (September 9)

Hello, everybody!

Welcome back to a brand new newsletter covering news and new releases from the Spanish video games industry. Today we have the full release of one of the most anticipated games recently developed in our country as well as an indie roguelite. Let’s start!

It’s been a long road for Temtem. The game by Crema Games was successfully funded via Kickstarter back in July of 2018 in what it still is the most successful Spanish game in that platform, gathering more than $570,000. Players all over the world fell in love with the idea of a massive multiplayer creature-collection adventure on PC.

Fast-forward four years and you have Temtem 1.0, a game that has been released on Steam and consoles after a long Early Access period. Only on Steam the game has gathered more than 27,000 reviews, which gives an indication of its success. Well played, Crema Games!

Temtem is not the only game released this week. If you are into roguelites, then you should check Tower Princess. The game by AweKteaM and published by HypeTrain Digital, is a charming 3D roguelite platformer about a normal day in the life of a knight. You will need to sharpen your spear and make the Dragon run in fear! Oh, and also try to manage a date with the princesses & princes you rescue along the way. The game is only available on Steam.

That’s all for this week! Remember to follow us on social media to stay updated about the latest news about Spanish video games!
